It's been awhile since Daddy and I have sat down and watched a movie, with nothing else to do (i.e. no coupon clipping, paper purging, toe nail painting, etc.). Tonight we indulged and I spent the last 2 hours giggling my head off at "The Proposal" with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. This was actually the last movie we saw together at the theaters as well and Daddy took me on my 30th birthday (you know you get in FREE on your birthday right?).
I loved it then and I love it now. I am a sarcastic girl, seriously, sarcastic. Blame my cousin Joel, blame my married into family, blame my wacky personality, but sarcasm is my type of humor and Ryan Reynolds is the best at it! They cast this movie perfectly and I enjoyed my little break tonight, my escape and my opportunity to giggle - dare I say, laugh, my head off!
I hope you enjoy some great laughter this week as well.
oh my goodness, loveedd this movie!! i saw it with raeane and karen g. in the theater and that made it sooo much better. they were serious about their laughing out loud and it helped me, the not so much laugh out loud person, really happy, and really "laughy". the crowd was lovin it too. have to say, then i saw it in havasu with b and 1)not so many people there + 2)not laughing at much=not as much giggles. but is was so cute. and i love sandra bullock. r, k, you and i should rent it again and laugh our butts off together! :)
ReplyDeleteWe loved that movie too!! So funny! We are a sarcastic family too. If you can't take sarcasm, you won't survive our family :D
ReplyDeleteI had NO idea you get in free on your birthday!! Awesome!
I haven't seen it but I so want to. Like your new song here on your blog. Wonderful! Who's it by?
ReplyDeleteNicole - we need to have a movie night! I'm glad you like the new song, you can see my playlist at the very bottom of the blog. The first song that plays is by Francesca Battistelli - she is amazing!
ReplyDeleteHeather Jo - sounds like just one more thing we have in common! :)
ReplyDeleteI have never seen this... but it sounds like I should :)
ReplyDeleteShannon - there is a questionable nudie scene, but other than that (which was actually kind of funny), it's a pretty great movie and one I think you should definitely rent!
