Finger Licking Good!

It's baking time!

Yes I know that makes everyone happy
My kids and I LOVE to bake and had fun making our amazing, NOT low-fat, NOT low-calorie, NOT gluten-free, good 'ole chocolate chip cookies the other day.  Here's the recipe, it's the original Nestle Tollhouse recipe with some changes my sister-in-law put together that take these cookies from YUM to CAN'T STOP EATING AMAZING!

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • < 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
  • 1 cup chopped nut

Directions

PREHEAT oven to 360° F.

COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

BAKE for 9 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

Don't forget you shouldn't taste any of the batter, as my son says, "It has raw egg in it."

Enjoy!
