Missed us?

Have you missed these guys?

I've missed posting about them, really I have, but we've been super busy and now that I'm in the busy season with my photography business, most computer time is spent editing client photos and such.  Good, but bad because I miss my little blog and recording all the fun we're having this Fall.

The Pumpkin Patch, Apple Hill, daily life...many posts I hope to get to soon.  So tonight I'm just going to give you a few little tidbits...

- Did you know that clothes hangers make excellent bows for little boys who are intent on playing with bows and arrows?  McGee loves Robin Hood and has been obsessed with bows and arrows, swords and shields since seeing the classic movie and reading the story... over and over and over again. :)

 - Is there anything cuter than a little girl with pigtails?  I mean Miss Em is adorable no matter what her hair looks like, but whenever I put her in piggies (half or full), I just can't get enough of her!  Add to that cuteness an encouraging heart.  Last night McGee was getting dressed in his pajamas and Miss Em was just laying on the ground in his room cuddling with her "baby" (her soft blue puppy dog with a pull-cord for music that Grandpa gave her).  She looked up at McGee and said, "He is SO handsome!  You're SO handsome McGee!"  It was the sweetest thing!

 - Saturday McGee went to a birthday party for his friend Ty from preschool.  For weeks he's been wrapping up his books as Ty's "birthday present" and he LOVES writing Ty's name - it's exciting to him that he only has 2 letters in his name and he's filled up papers with Ty's name written all over it for us to give to him.  Needless to say he was happy to write Ty's name on the gift bag.

While getting dressed for the party, McGee insisted he wear his yellow striped tie, "Because that's his name, Ty, so I need to wear my tie!"  I decided to let him have his fashion freedom, as long as I could take some pictures of it. :)

Ah..I love these two blessings of mine!
