Children's Christmas Show

With Christmas coming, McGee was learning lots about our King and how we celebrate His birth on Christmas Day.  At 3 1/2 years old McGee was finally old enough to participate in the annual Children's Christmas Show at church.  Weeks before the big day, his Sunday School teachers taught them "Away In A Manger" and "Happy Birthday Jesus" and much time was spent in our house and car practicing these songs.  Boy did McGee LOVE singing these and correcting anyone who sang them wrong ( I believe he corrected Auntie Diana even).

Daddy was preparing too as he was in charge of the music and his Music Sunday School class students would be performing their guitar music and singing for all of the songs.  The day finally came and we dressed McGee in holiday fashion, invited all of his grandparents and looked forward to his great first performance.

There he IS!  I think they must have lined the kids up by height though in the hallway because he came in with the younger students.  It was so cute seeing so many children walking in, slightly nervous and holding hands.

Daddy is laughing as he tries to direct the children along the stage

Despite having seats right up front where I was sure to get great pictures, McGee somehow got lost behind much larger children and I had to run around to try and catch a glimpse of him.  See him peeking out on the left side of the picture?
