Not Me Monday!

-->
Yep – it’s another Not Me Monday! post. Thanks's to Mckmama for starting this blog carnival. I actually don’t have too much to post today I don’t think, but that’s purely due to lack of memory and NOT for lack of embarrassing/crazy/funny moments from the week. Here goes:
- I did NOT fail miserably at getting a focused self-portrait shot while playing outside with the kiddos.

-->
- In attempts to clean the house, while vacuuming the bedrooms and hallway I did NOT come out to the kitchen to find a mess thanks to my daughter’s joy of playing with onions. It was cute though seeing Miss Em and McGee trying to clean up their mess.

-->
- On that note, my daughter did NOT enjoy tossing around red potatoes this week like they were baseballs. I did NOT keep finding potatoes around the house she had taken from the potato basket and apparently played with. She did NOT think throwing her sippy cup in the basket would hide the evidence of missing potatoes.

-->
- While making cookies I did NOT crack an egg with the Kitchenaid still mixing and accidentally drop half of the shell in. When rushing to turn OFF the mixer so I could pull the egg shell out, I did NOT actually hit the button that made it mix faster, therefore crushing up the shell and making it much more difficult to pull out of the batter. I did NOT then spend the next 10 minutes combing through the batter to make sure that every last possible piece of egg shell had been removed because I didn’t want to waste the ingredients I’d already mixed together by starting over.

-->
- And while we're talking about cooking faux paus...Saturday morning I made a huge pot of Taco Soup to share between meals for a couple of families at our church as well as our dinner for Sunday night. I forgot to taste the soup however and after eating our soup last night for dinner I realized I did NOT over-season the soup terribly and DIDN’T make it too watery in my attempts to stretch it a little. I did NOT give a family of 8 a teeny, tiny 8 oz. container of sour cream with their meal simply because the ink incident before church took away the time I had intended to stop by the grocery store on the way to church.

-->
- While getting ready for church I did NOT find McGee with hands and nose covered in green ink from a Curious George stamp set he found. Despite trying to wash him clean, he did NOT go to church with green hands and a touch of green still on his nose. Nope – we are always perfectly groomed and dressed for church.

-->
- When I returned from the grocery store and began unloading groceries, it WASN’T me who left the door open and allowed our dogs to escape for a few minutes out front. It WASN’T this mistake that caused us to walk and drive around the neighborhood for 40 minutes looking for Ben who had decided to run off for an adventure. As I was resigning myself to the fact that we’d have to put up Lost Dog signs, I DIDN’T hear some barking in a neighboring court and find Ben trapped in a stranger’s backyard. Of course, law-abiding citizen I am, I DIDN’T try to get into their backyard via their locked gate to save my dog. Since that attempt failed and their people were not home, I DIDN’T leave it up to my husband to find the hole in the fence and get Ben to come back through.

- Miss Em did NOT take one of her brother's knee pads and stick it under her shirt as a shoulder pad all on her own - PLEASE tell me this isn't a sign the dreaded shoulder pads are coming back into style!

- It wasn't ME who made my readers suffer with a new font simply because I thought it was a fun change!

- Blogger did NOT mess up my fun font and then make a mess of all of my formatting. Forgive the inconsistent bold/unbold font.
Wishing you a wonderful, fun-filled week!
