Earlier this week we escaped some of this awful heat by going to the train museum. It was our first time going and I thought McGee would just LOVE it! Well it took some time for him to warm-up to it actually, you know, his cautious nature and all, but the toy train play area upstairs really was his favorite part and Miss Em's too!
We released her from confinement in the stroller and let her explore with all of the rest of the children and she really enjoyed it. She showed Grandma and Grandpa how she "walks" on her knees and walks along well holding onto things.
After the museum Daddy came and met us for lunch in old town where we took some fun pictures.
Finishing the day off, McGee and Miss Em shared a scoop of strawberry ice cream. It was
delish!
