Sweet Requests

Tonight Miss Em came up to me before dinner and said, "Mommy can you take a picture of me and Ben?"  Happy to oblige her sweet request I ran and grabbed my camera and came back to take this first shot of she and Ben (our dog).  He wasn't feeling too photographic so she said, "How about me and Callie?" then ran over to Callie for a kiss and a pic.

Then our hippie child started twirling...and hopping....and twirling...and dancing...so I slowed my shutter speed and tried to capture some of her free-flowing movement:

In other news, McGee heads back to preschool tomorrow which is sad because our Christmas break went by so fast and the last part was spent at home sick, but I know he will be glad to be out and about beyond these walls of our home. :)  He's very excited that Daddy gets to take him and pick him up from school since Daddy is still on vacation and Mommy has a consulting job all day tomorrow.
